Account and Data Deletion for SSB Buddy
SSB Buddy respects your right to delete your account and personal data. You can request account deletion at any time directly from the SSB Buddy mobile application. Follow these steps:
Open SSB Buddy App and Go to Settings
Launch the SSB Buddy application on your device and navigate to the Settings page from the main menu.
Access Privacy and Data Settings
In Settings, tap on "Privacy and Data" option. Then locate and click on the "Delete My Account" button.
Confirm Account Deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear. Review the information and click "Yes, Delete Everything" to permanently remove your SSB Buddy account and all associated data.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your SSB Buddy account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile information (name, email address)
- All practice test results and performance history
- Progress tracking data and statistics
- Gamification data (XP, ranks, achievements, badges)
- Daily streak records
- Any saved preferences and settings
- All user-generated content
Data Retention Period
Upon account deletion request, your data will be permanently deleted from SSB Buddy servers within 30 days. During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible. After 30 days, all data will be completely and irreversibly removed from our systems.
Data That May Be Retained
For legal, security, and business purposes, we may retain certain information for a limited period:
- Transaction records (if applicable) - retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
- Information required to comply with legal obligations
- Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your SSB Buddy account, all your practice history, progress, and achievements will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please ensure you want to proceed before confirming deletion.
